YOLO Group is one of Italy’s leading insurtech operators with international operations.
The name YOLO (You Only Live Once) expresses our mission: to simplify the lives of individuals and businesses by protecting them from the unexpected.
The Group carries out two activities, Insurance Broker and Tech Services Provider, employing around 40 professionals.
The YOLO Group comprises four companies.

We distribute innovative insurance products (developed with leading companies) through a hybrid model (phygital and digital).
Tech Services Provider
We enable the digital distribution of insurance products from companies, banks, utilities and large-scale retailers.
Path
2017
- In November, Gianluca De Cobelli and Simone Ranucci Brandimarte founded YOLO with the support of a group of institutional investors.
2018
- YOLO launches the first digital sports insurance.
- The first digital bancassurance collaboration in Italy is defined.
- Agreements are defined with five distribution groups.
2019
- Round A financing was finalised with the entry of major lenders, including the Intesa San Paolo group.
- Distribution partnerships reach 35, with over 100,000 policies under management.
- Expansion abroad begins with entry into Spain.
2020
- During the pandemic year, investments continue in technology to enhance the platform and in marketing to support partners.
- Partnerships grew to 40 and YOLO managed the issuance of around 350,000 policies.
2021
- Generali Group enters the capital.
- YOLO wins Best Insurtech award at the Italy Insurance Awards.
- YOLO also wins the Italian Insurtech Awards for the best performance in attracting investments.
- YOLO manages the issuance of around 1 million policies.
2022
- YOLO is the first Italian insurtech operator to be listed in the EGM PRO segment.
- YOLO adopts the hybrid physical-digital distribution model, launching the Yolo Insurance Network platform and acquiring the majority of the broker Bartolozzi Assicurazioni.
2023
- Phygital distribution grows with the acquisition of a majority stake in AllianceInSay, a tech broker specialising in the digital distribution of insurance products and services for mobility.
- YOLO changes its payoff from On demand insurance to Tech Insurance.
2024
- YOLO strengthens its capital with a €7 million increase and welcomes new strategic investors.
- The broker Bartolozzi Assicurazioni is incorporated into YOLO.
- YOLO acquires 51% of Risorsa Uomo to enhance training and innovation in the insurance sector.
2025
- YOLO acquires 51% of RCPolizza.it s.r.l., a digital broker specialising in insurance products for SMEs.
- The network of distribution partnerships with banks, insurance companies and retailers grows to 150.
- YOLO enhances its multi-channel distribution services offering with two AI Agents, one for the phygital channel and one for the digital channel.
